Join the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation for a free community-wide African drum and dance class led by Myienie Caesar, the award-winning Executive Director of N’Fungola Sibo African Dance and Drum Company Inc. 

The class will introduce participants to the energy, movement, rhythm, and cultural traditions of West African dance and drumming. Through African song, instruments, dance, and folklore, N’Fungola Sibo will share an experience rooted in cultural education, positive energy, community, and connection.

As a traditional West African performing company, N’Fungola Sibo African Dance & Drum Company, Inc. is dedicated to educating the public about authentic African culture, with a focus on West African dance and the values of character, heritage, and cultural pride.
