The first annual I Am for the Child™ Run/Walk presented by EZParker will be held on Saturday, November 12th beginning at 7:30 AM. This family friendly race takes place at LaSalle Park in Metairie. The event will raise much-needed funding to support the work of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children) Jefferson volunteers. To register as a runner or form a team for CASA Jefferson’s I Am for the Child™ Run/Walk, please visit www.casajefferson.org. Pre-race day entrance fees are $25/ per person, $30 day of the race. All under the age of 17 years old and older 65 years or older fee is $15.00. Participants will enjoy the music played by DJ 1Tyme, food, beverages and an exciting KidZone.
